Welcome to Golden Leaves Vineyard & Winery in the heart of the Fairplay American Viticultural Area (AVA). Our vineyard is thriving under sustainable hands-on farming practices and the result is truly exceptional wine by owner/winemaker Alex Henderson.
The Fairplay AVA’s unique terroir, characterized by its elevation, well-drained soils, and warm days followed by cool nights, provides the perfect conditions for cultivating exceptional grapes. The varietals we cultivate include classic Bordeaux and Spanish varieties, showcasing the diversity that this AVA has to offer.
Golden Leaves Vineyard & Winery is not just a vineyard, it’s an experience. The tasting room invites guests to savor the fruits of our labor while enjoying the views of the surrounding vineyard. Inside, the atmosphere is warm and familial, reflecting the personal touch that defines our family-owned establishment. In addition to wine tastings and fabulous food, guests are invited to explore the vineyard grounds, participate in seasonal events, and even partake in grape harvests during the fall. Our winery is also available for private events, providing you with an ideal venue for intimate gatherings, weddings, and celebrations.
